   Development of a strategy for conversion of the defense establishment in the European North (2000-2003)


Current research subject:

   Organization and economics of regional sea management in the European North (2004-2006)

   The main thrust of the current project is to organize the system of regional sea management in the European North. The sea management development lies in the context of national concerns support and is determined by the regulations of Marine Doctrine RF and a federal task program "World Ocean". It should be pointed out that the division of the world ocean is in it initial stage and there is no methodological support for civilized economic and political relationship in this sphere yet.

   The project meets the problem of organization of a sea management system with respect for its manifold activities. The existing science fails to suggest an appropriate navigation systems analysis at both national and regional levels.
