MI KSC, Mining Institute

Division of pilot testing, designing and chemical-analytical study

Head: M.V. Shkribeev

Research areas:Participation in scientific & research activity, semi-pilot testing of new technological processes and devices, designing new dressing equipment, chemical-analytical and mineralogical support.

It provides an opportunity of pilot testing of various dressing techniques, thus producing trial lots of concentrates. The sector is equipped with various dressing devices, including the ones designed at the Mining Institute, which make it possible to process ore samples with the mass of up to 200 t.
This sector has been developing new efficient dressing devices, controlling the production of pilot versions of devices. It also deals with testing of pieces of equipment and putting them into operation.
This sector carries out chemical-analytical control in technological R&D and pilot testing.
This sector performs mineralogical studies, related to the Institute's laboratories research work and dressing pilot plant.
