30.10.2007 RAS Presidium decide to give a annual Schmidt purse to Ac. Gennadiy Matishov for his series of scientific works related to Paleography, Ecology, Biology and Oceanology of Arctic seas. 24.09.2007 The RF President`s Edict No 1244 awarded Alexander Gershenkop, DrSc and deputy research director of the Mining Institute KSC, with the honorary title "Honoured Scientist PF" for his considerable contribution into science development. By the direction of RAS of 27 April 2007, No.10190-319 “On head physician of the hospital of Kola Science Center RAS” Novikova Tatyana was appointed head physician of the hospital KSC RAS. By the resolution of Presidium RAS No 81 of 17 April 2007, Voitekhovskiy Yuri, Dr Sc (Min-Eng) was confirmed in office of director of the Geological institute, Kola Science Center. In accordance with the Charter of the Russian Academy of Sciences to appoint Mitrofanov Feliks councilor of RAS from 18 April 2007 and issue a commendation for his long-term management of the Geological Institute, Kola Science Center RAS (Resolution No. 113, of 15 May 2007). By a presidental decree of 10th May 2007 No. 617 Anatoliy Nikolaev, corr. member of KSC RAS, Dr Sc.(Engineering) was awarded a title of "Honored man of science RF". By the presidential decree No. 267 of 1 st March 2007 Kalinnikov Vladimir, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, chairman of the Kola Science Centre RAS, was decorated with an order “For services to motherland of the IV degree” for his considerable contribution to development of sciences and long-term fruitful work.
The INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENTS AND INVENTIONS of the Kola Science Centre RAS were rewarded at the VII Moscow International show of
innovations and investments (Moscow, 5-8 February 2007).
